Get priceA box truck, also called a dry van or straight truck, keeps cargo enclosed, secure and out of the weather. It is the go-to truck for furniture and appliance delivery, moving companies, e-commerce last-mile routes, event rental, food distribution and building supply. In Los Angeles traffic and on Sacramento area routes, a straight truck is easier to park, load and drive than a tractor-trailer, and most drivers can learn it quickly.
A 16-foot box handles most residential deliveries and fits in tight loading areas around North Hollywood, Van Nuys and Hollywood. Eighteen and 20-foot boxes are the sweet spot for moving and multi-stop freight. A 24 or 26-foot box on a Hino 268 or Ford F-650 carries full pallet loads and is the largest truck many operators can run without a CDL. Ask us about roll-up or swing rear doors, side doors, E-track and logistics posts, translucent roofs, ramps and liftgates.
New trucks come with full factory warranty, the latest emissions equipment and predictable maintenance costs. Used box trucks get you on the road for less and are ideal for a second truck or a startup testing a new route. Every used unit we list has its mileage shown, and we can provide inspection details on request. If you do not see the exact truck, we can source one or build one on a new chassis cab.
AutoLux arranges financing for box trucks for new businesses, owner-operators and established fleets, including multi-unit purchases. Start with a quick application, or call our Los Angeles office in North Hollywood or our Sacramento office in Roseville. We handle the paperwork and keep you posted from quote to keys.
AutoLux has two offices for commercial buyers. Our Los Angeles office at 4920 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood serves the San Fernando Valley, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, the Westside, downtown LA and the South Bay. Our Sacramento-area office at 8405 Sierra College Blvd in Roseville serves Sacramento, Rocklin, Roseville, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove and Placer County. Wherever your business is based, we can help you compare box trucks and line up financing, so you spend less time shopping and more time working. Inventory changes every week, so call or send a request if the truck you need is not listed.
Trucks up to 26,000 lb GVWR, which usually means a 24–26 ft box, can generally be driven without a CDL in California when not hauling hazmat or passengers.
Some do; others can be fitted with one. Ask us and we will quote a liftgate with the truck.
