The 2022 Dodge Charger is a full-size rear- or all-wheel-drive sedan that slots above the compact Dart. Multiple performance variants are offered including the 707-hp Charger SRT Hellcat.

Available features include FCA’s latest UConnect infotainment system, a rearview camera, HID headlights with LED accents, a Harman/Kardon audio system, keyless entry/start, and remote start. On the SXT grade, the Super Track Pak adds 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-season performance tires, a 3.07 rear axle ratio, a three-model electronic stability control system, performance brakes, Dodge’s Performance Pages, and a performance-tuned suspension that lowers the sedan by half an inch. There’s 16.5 cubic-feet of trunk space in the Charger and it can be expanded via the standard 60/40 split-folding rear seats.
NHTSA gave the 2022 Dodge Charger a five-star overall safety rating (out of a possible five stars). The 2022 Dodge Charger received the second-highest score of Marginal in the small overlap front crash evaluation, and the highest score of Good for the remaining evaluations (moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraints and seats).The sedan received a Superior rating in the IIHS’ front crash prevention test where it avoided a 12-mph collision and reduced the severity of a 25-mph impact by 12 mph.
Available on all trims except the base SE and the SRT Hellcat, the Technology group adds active safety features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist.
