PERFORMANCE AND FUEL ECONOMY
The 2021 Sedona is powered by a 3.3-liter V-6 with 276 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. EPA fuel economy ratings are 18/24 mpg city/highway.
The 2021 Sedona received a five-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA (out of a possible five stars).
In the IIHS’ front crash prevention test, the 2021 Sedona received a Superior rating after it avoided collisions in 12- and 25-mph crash tests (Superior is the highest possible score).
On the LX and higher trims, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert come standard. Lane departure warning, driver attention warning, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking are standard on the EX and higher grades. High beam assist is only available on the SX and SX Limited models.
With all seats in place, the 2021 Sedona has 33.9 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the second row and cargo capacity expands to 78.4 cubic feet on all models except the SX Limited which is slightly less at 77 cubic feet. Total cargo capacity is 142 cubic feet with the second and third rows stowed. The 2021 Sedona is also rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds of payload with a conventional trailer.
