2022 X1 sDrive28i/xDrive28ixLine Design: The base xLine Design trims includes black high-gloss trim with pearl chrome accent, black SensaTec leather, 18-inch Y-spoke wheels, three driving modes (Eco Pro, Comfort, and Sport), satin aluminum roof rails, matte chrome exterior trim, eight-way power front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, power liftgate, a 6.5-inch center screen with iDrive and a controller, Bluetooth, and HD radio.
2022 X1 sDrive28i/xDrive28iM Sport Design: The M Sport Design comes equipped with high-gloss roof rails, a sport automatic transmission, an aerodynamic kit, M steering wheel, Sport seats, 18-inch M double-spoke wheels, Shadowline exterior trim, and aluminum hexagon interior trim with Estoril Blue matte highlight.
- The Convenience tier (also available in the xLine Design) adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, SiriusXM satellite radio, universal garage door opener, ambient lighting, power-folding mirrors, and a panoramic moonroof.
- The Premium tier (available in both trims) adds remote services, adaptive LED headlights with cornering lights, navigation with a touchpad controller, a head-up display, and heated front seats and steering wheel.
Available on the xLine Design, the Luxury package comes with a choice of different Oyster Dakota leather color combinations and a choice of different fine-wood Oak grain trim with a pearl chrome accent. Both trims are also available with sliding and reclining rear seats, wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, Sport seats (xLine Design), and M Sport suspension (M Sport Design
The 2022 BMW X1 is powered by a 228-hp, 258-lb-ft of torque 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 backed by an eight-speed automatic and delivers an EPA-rated 23/32 mpg city/highway with front-wheel drive (sDrive) and 22/31 mpg with all-wheel drive (xDrive). In Motor Trend testing, the 2022 BMW X1 xDrive28i hit 60 mph in a quick 6.8 seconds and stopped from 60 mph in 122 feet.
