The 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque comes with a choice of a four-door, two-door, and two-door convertible body styles. Power is derived from a sole powertrain, a 240-hp, 250-lb-ft of torque 2.0-liter I-4 engine that sends power to an all-wheel-drive system through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The two- and four-door Evoque achieves an EPA-rated 21/29 mpg city/highway while the two-door convertible achieves a slightly less 22/29 mpg city/highway due to the added weight. Length and wheelbase are the same regardless of the body style and cargo capacity shrinks to a mere 8.9 cubic feet of space in the convertible body style.
The Evoque infotainment features Land Rover’s available InControl Touch Pro that features a 10-inch touchscreen that supports swipe and pinch gestures, a 16-speaker Meridian Digital surround sound system, InControl Apps and Wi-Fi, and InControl Remote and Protect vehicle assistance program. Off-road capability is enhanced by Land Rover’s All-Terrain Progress Control, All-Terrain Info Center, Terrain Response, Hill Descent Control, and Gradient Release Control.
Land Rover packed the Range Rover Evoque with a host of high-tech driver aids. The Surround Camera System provides a nearly 360-degree view around the vehicle and can be used to assist the Full Park Assist system that is capable of steering the stylish SUV into a parallel or perpendicular parking space. Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Keep Assist with Driver Condition Monitor, adaptive cruise control, and Traffic Sign Recognition are additional driver aids that can help keep your driving experience safe. Standard safety features include front, knee, side, and curtain airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, traction control, Roll Stability Control, Emergency Brake Assist, and Trailer Stability Assist. Neither the IIHS nor the NHTSA have ever crash tested the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
